Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description

Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of various equipment to ensure a safe and effective production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

  • Repair and rebuild heavy industrial equipment.

  • Work independently and prioritize plant needs based on production sensitivity.

  • Perform installation and setup of new production machinery.

  • Conduct safety inspections and preventive maintenance on specified items.

  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.

  • Work frequently from heights, ladders, and operate from a man lift, fork truck, and hand jack.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience in maintenance, repairs, and installations.

  • Experience in preventive maintenance.

  • Mechanical skills.

  • Welding experience.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Electrical skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy industrial equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
