Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Responsible for engaging in the development of course materials, assignments, and assessments for undergraduate real estate programming; teaching undergraduate courses both face-to-face and online in multiple areas of Real Estate and closely related topics; and providing guidance to students in their academic pursuits.
Candidates should possess experience in the real estate sector, along with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships with industry professionals, community leaders, and key stakeholders. This includes facilitating student internships and job placement opportunities, as well as cultivating partnerships to support scholarship fundraising initiatives.
A commitment to service to the University and profession is also expected.
Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
Minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):
Minimum of three years of professional experience in the real estate sector, with a proven track record of industry expertise. Prior experience teaching real estate courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level is desirable. Active involvement in professional associations and industry networks. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
