Security Officer Mobile Driving Role

As a Security Officer Mobile Driving Role in Big Island, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, support access control, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to work with an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.

• Monitor access to the facility by verifying authorized entry, observing visitor and contractor activity, and maintaining applicable access-control records.

• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
