Job Overview
The Senior Specialist, Deviated Pricing Management will perform routine accounting activities and assist in the maintenance of deviated pricing related accounts.
Job Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining deviated pricing programs from the Accounts Receivable side.

Responsible for making sure end customers provide accurate and timely reports.

Identify and communicate basic discrepancies to various stakeholders, primarily sales representatives and customers.

Prepare customer remittance data for system uploads when instructed.

Coordinate the recovery of any invalid deduction.
Post journal entries to the general ledger as necessary.

Provide support, through direction, to the Deviated

Pricing Management team as needed.

Recognize improvements, adaptations, or revisions in the accounting system and procedures.

Continue to develop foundational knowledge of relevant pricing procedures and practices.

Follow documented accounting and accounting control procedures.

All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.

Responsible for maintaining accurate revenue postings as required by Revenue Recognition Standard, ASU 606.

All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.

Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Education and Experience
-
High school diploma or GED with one year of relevant experience.

General understanding of Accounts Receivable processes.

Effectively communicate with management and external departments.

Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Education and Experience
-
2-4 years of Accounts Receivable or related experience in a manufacturing environment.

SAP experience.
Working Conditions
-
Work is performed in an office setting.
-
Occasional exposure to industrial operations including: temperature extremes from approximately 35ºF to 100ºF; noise levels in excess of 85 dB; moisture and moving machinery.
