Job Description

Full-time onsite: Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time onsite.This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This position is in support of Development builds. Assembling electronic components, assemblies, sub assemblies, kits and modules according to specific written instructions, wiring lists, diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets. Use of appropriate tooling and machinery as provided. Verify and inspect products to ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as needed.

Performing mechanical and electrical assembly operations in the build of electronic assemblies using standard measuring tools and techniques, following work order instructions, policies and procedures. Perform soldering and inspection when/if certified. Cross-train in other assembly positions, participate and support continuous improvement activities, perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • HighSchool Diploma or GED

  • Previous manufacturing and assembly experience.

  • Must be able to work with Microscope.

  • Prior soldering experience

  • Must pass a visual acuity test.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience working complex electronic assemblies, both at the circuit card level and top-level assemblies.

  • Successful candidates will need to be skilled at hardware modifications and supporting engineering development work.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where change is frequent.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $38041 - $60865

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
