Warehouse Janitor

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Warehouse Janitor to join their team. As a Warehouse Janitor, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting safety, cleanliness, and organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Janitor

Location: Calera, AL

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM

*must be available to train 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM for first two weeks

What's the Job?

• Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areas to ensure a safe environment.

• Travel throughout assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove debris such as wood pieces, shrink wrap, and other waste materials.

• Move pallets as needed to facilitate cleaning underneath and around storage areas.

• Dust warehouse racks and storage locations to keep the environment tidy.

• Support overall warehouse housekeeping and safety initiatives, including operating equipment after training and certification.

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Willingness to learn warehouse equipment operation, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and detail.

• Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.

• Previous experience in warehouse, sanitation, janitorial, or material handling is preferred but not required.
