Description
Clinical duties include:
Rooming patients.
Preparing patients for exams.
Allergy skin testing, spirometry, and other testing requested by Physician/Provider.
Obtaining vitals and patient histories.
Assisting Physician/s and/or Extender/s with exams.
Monitoring, cleaning, stocking exam rooms.
Cleaning patient waiting area.
Documentation of electronic medical record data.
Other duties as necessary/assigned.
Clerical duties may include:
Scheduling patients for appointments and ancillaries,
Telephone interactions.
Telephone triage.
Prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
Assisting with Supply orders.
Other duties as assigned/necessary.
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.

Education

Experience
RequiredMust have previous experience in medical office setting, Allergy experience a plus.
Must be familiar with electronic medical records.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high focus on quality patient care.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.
Ability to assist with minor in-office procedures if necessary.
Must hold RMA or CCMA or other qualifying certification
