What you will be doing:

  • Open, sort, and prepare incoming payments, remittance documents, and related correspondence for processing.

  • Accurately enter payment and account information into designated systems following standard operating procedures and client-specific instructions.

  • Verify checks, payment amounts, remittance slips, account numbers, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.

  • Operate imaging, scanning, or payment-processing equipment to capture and validate documents.

  • Identify and escalate discrepancies, exceptions, or non-routine issues to the appropriate lead, supervisor, or support team.

  • Maintain required production, accuracy, quality, and turnaround-time standards.

  • Prepare, balance, and reconcile batches to ensure payments are processed correctly and timely.

  • Handle sensitive financial and customer information in accordance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Support team goals by assisting in other production areas as business needs require.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm cst. On-site

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
