Successful candidates bring 5+ Years Data Engineering Experience, 4+ Years Python Experience, and Familiarity With dbt. Important skills include GCP, BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub. Preferred (not required): Business Understanding.

  • Analyze requirements to improve the Data Platform
  • Design, develop, and deliver reliable data warehouses
  • Collaborate with the Data Team to help them discover and use existing data assets
  • Coach and mentor fellow data engineers
  • Provide recommendations on data architecture across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python programming with at least 4 years of professional experience
  • Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation, with strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience working with data platforms that support discovery, observability, quality, and reliability
  • Experience with third-party behavior analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Appsflyer, CleverTap)
  • Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to provide insights for business decision-making
  • At least 1 year of experience with data quality tools/frameworks
  • Strong understanding of investment and business is a plus
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
