Full job description

NC Operator

Stockton, CA

Pay Rate: $23 an hour

Shift: Monday – Friday 4:30am – 1:10pm (some overtime required)

What's the Job?

  • Set up and operate NC punch presses to produce precision sheet metal parts.

  • Ensure consistent quality and efficiency in production runs.

  • Manipulate basic "G" code to optimize machine operation and minimize run time.

  • Read and interpret technical prints and drawings accurately.

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues as needed.

What's Needed?

  • At least 2 years of work experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating NC punch presses.

  • Ability to read technical prints and use measurement tools such as calipers and tape measures.

  • Knowledge of tool setup for countersinks and forming tools.

  • Strong understanding of print callouts, part rotation, and machine operation.
