Full job description
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to grow your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Avery Dennison is looking for a Finishing Operator to join our team in Fairport Harbor. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our finished products meet exact customer specifications and high-quality standards before shipment.
Shift: B12 Team, 2-2-3 schedule, 7PM to 7AM
Starting hiring rate: $22.47/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
What You Will Do:

Package & Prepare: Label, band, core-cut, and package slit rolls and finished goods according to customer specifications and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure Quality: Perform initial product inspections, track multiple orders simultaneously, and help maintain zero-defect standards.

Drive Efficiency: Keep work areas supplied with packaging materials, support equipment maintenance, and actively participate in 5S and continuous improvement projects.

Collaborate: Communicate across shifts and team members to keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.
What We Look For:

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail.

Team-player mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt as production priorities shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain a Lift Truck Operator license.

Basic computer proficiency and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
