Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee a team of 35-40 employees

  • This role involves managing the shift with the assistance of 3-5 team leads

  • The facility specializes in using hydraulic-driven presses to mold hot rubber into flexible products

  • This position requires an individual who can maintain production efficiency and ensure safety standards are met

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of 35-40 employees

  • Oversee the work of 3-5 team leads to ensure smooth shift operations

  • Ensure the hydraulic presses operate efficiently to mold hot rubber into products

  • Monitor and maintain tooling, fixtures, and secondary items to prevent wear and ensure production stays within tolerance

  • Coordinate with Die Setters to manage equipment such as hilos/forklifts and overhead cranes safely

  • Oversee the shutdown and startup processes of machines, including unplugging and reconnecting hoses to molds

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the production process

  • Manage scheduling, payroll, attendance, and reporting duties

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years supervising 25+ employees

  • Experience in OEM or Tier 1 Supplier supervision

  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing practices

  • Experience in managing payroll and attendance

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Benefits start 1st of the month following hire date. Medical, dental, vision, 401k, short and long term disability.
