Security Officer Afternoon Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Rockingham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.

• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
