In Controls & Avionics Solutions, you will have the opportunity to help define and develop the next generation of avionics whether it is fly-by-wire flight controls, full authority digital engine controls, or power management.
You will make impacts in the following ways;

Partner with engineers to place and route components ensuring that all electrical and physical specifications meet the specific design requirements for each PCB design.

Design moderate to complex printed circuit board layouts for multilayer rigid, rigid flex and flex boards for digital, analog, and power circuits.

Participate in design reviews, interface with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and process engineers to design proto-type and production quality printed circuit boards in accordance with BAE Systems standards and procedures.

Create fabrication and assembly drawings, parts list, incorporate changes to existing design documentation, create, and maintain component library.

Provide feedback to design engineers as needed to ensure functionality and manufacturability of PCB designs.

Suggest options when faced with challenging PCB design situations including resolutions to non-standard problems.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
-
10 or more years of relative work experience with PCB/PWB Design tools such as Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Altium

2-year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Organized, flexible and able to multitask in a dynamic team environment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with design and manufacturing engineers.

Knowledge of designing with through-hole via, micro-via and blind-via construction techniques.

Experience with Siemens Xpedition, DxDesigner, Library and Siemens EDM
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
-
15 or more years of relative work experience working with ECAD libraries.

4 year Electronics or Mechanical degree

Siemens (formerly Mentor Graphics) Xpedition tool suite
-
Siemens EDM techinical ADMIN roles
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
