Position Description & Qualifications

Looking for an opportunity at a place where you can have an influence every day? Serco has an exciting opportunity for a Security Specialist - General (Mid) supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) customer and the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) mission. In this role, you will provide general security program support by assisting with documentation management, compliance activities, records maintenance, coordination efforts, and security-related administrative functions. Your ability to work across government, contractor, and Serco stakeholders will help ensure timely execution of security actions and support mission success. This position is ideal for a security professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced supporting DoD security operations in a fast-paced environment.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support general security activities, including documentation, records management, compliance tracking, and coordination.

  • Assist with maintaining security files, rosters, trackers, correspondence, and related program documentation.

  • Coordinate with government, Serco, and contractor personnel to support timely completion of security actions.

  • Support meetings, briefings, data calls, reports, and action items tracking associated with security program activities.

  • Review security-related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Help identify process gaps and support improvements to security workflows and customer support processes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Active Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience supporting program security, facility security, personnel security, administrative security, or related Department of Defense (DoD) security functions.

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • This position is on-site.

  • Must be able to work in the Arlington, Virginia office Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

  • Strong attention to detail and document management skills.

  • Experience supporting security compliance activities and audits.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
