Direct Support Professional (DSP) | $24 per hour | Sonoma, CA
Flexible AM / PM / NOC Shifts | Multiple schedules available
We’re seeking reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a contracted opportunity in Sonoma, CA .
Position Highlights
Location: Sonoma, CA
Setting: Residential Group Homes
Schedule: ranging from 16-40 hours per week
Shifts Available:

AM: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
-
PM: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
-
NOC: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Role Focus
-
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
-
Supervise and support individuals in a residential setting
-
Provide active programming and engagement throughout shifts
-
Follow and document individualized care plans
-
Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
-
Report any concerns in accordance with mandated reporter guidelines
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
DSP or related caregiving/behavioral health experience - Required
-
CNA certification - Preferred
-
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
-
Reliable, flexible, and able to pick up shifts as needed
Additional Requirements

Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
-
Understanding of patient/resident confidentiality and HIPAA standards
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
The Direct Support Personnel I assists individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living in the home, community or residential setting. The Direct Support Personnel I works directly with the resident and provides supports for activities of daily living and adaptive skills. The Direct Support Personnel I should follow the guidance of the resident/ patients Individual Service Plan.
Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or its equivalent

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
-
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
-
Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks
