School Aide - 2026-2027 School Year

Amergis Education Staffing is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate School Aides for the 2026-2027 school year in the Encinitas, CA area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support high school students and make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.

Position Details

• Location: Encinitas, CA

• Student Population: High School

• Hours: 32.5 hours per week

• Start Date: August 10, 2026

• Assignment Length: 2026-2027 School Year

• Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Candidates must have experience working with children.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and school staff with classroom activities and daily routines

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

• Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

• Assist students with mobility, personal care, or therapeutic needs as required

• Monitor and reinforce appropriate student behavior

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

• Follow all school and district policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Ability to meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and confidentiality

• Experience working with children

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in schools, childcare, camps, tutoring, youth programs, or related settings

• Current CPR certification, if applicable

• TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray clearance, if required

• Current health certificate as required by state or district regulations
