Full job description

Overview:

To assist and guide guests into the Haunted Attraction safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Help guide the guests into the attraction.

  • Keep guest safety and satisfaction in mind by guiding guests to the entrance or exit, maintaining order in lines and answering questions.

  • Must purchase the Park approved Fright Fest red polo and wear black pants and appropriate shoes.

  • Must be able to speak to large groups of guests to inform them of the rules of the Haunted Attraction.

  • Haunted Attractions will stay open and in operation until the Supervisor has followed the last group of guests through. All employees must remain in their positions and perform their duties until dismissed by the Supervisor.

  • Keep the Scare-Actor’s safety in mind at all times by escorting Scare-Actors through the park both on stage and backstage, ensuring safe interaction between the Scare-Actors and guests, keeping track of Scare-Actors and handling any issues that may arise in an appropriate manner.

  • Diligently follow all scheduling in regards to meals and breaks.

  • Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the Supervisor immediately.

  • Maintain a clean work environment for the Haunted Attraction, break area, makeup area, and Show Wardrobe.

  • Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.

  • Train new personnel as needed.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 16

  • Must be availability to work evening shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

  • Must be able to speak to large groups of people and provide instructions & Haunted Attraction spiels.

  • Must be able of stand for the length of shift.

  • Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude

  • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
