Job Description
The position requires the degreed mechanical engineering candidate to work closely with a diverse and experienced group of electrical and mechanical engineers to achieve customer objectives via a flexible manufacturing, project management, organizational structure.
Kinetics power, control and electronic products are manufactured to domestic and international standards and codes. A candidate should have a working knowledge of sheet metal standards for electrical enclosures via the National Electric Code. Kinetics manufactures product that requires UL Listing, CSA approval and compliance to a customer’s specification. Knowledge and experience with NRTL’s and ISO documentation, testing and inspection protocols desired.
Application experience with design / manufacture of; sheet metal enclosure fabrication, manufacture of control panels, power equipment enclosures, switchgear, power transformers, electrical / electronic packaging and industrial sheet metal products manufactured in a CNC controlled automation fabrication facility.
Candidates must have CAD-CAM experience designing and/or implementing factory automation programming and network communication for product design to, sheet metal and copper power bus product fabrication. Designed experience with G-code for turret punch and/or plasma/laser/water jet cutting table.
The engineer must use academic knowledge of mechanical material tolerances to calculate, design, test, evaluate and present results / drawings to co-works, vendors, customers and business partners for Kinetics product line of diode and SCR power conversion systems.
Education skills a mechanical engineer must have as a minimum:

Must have educational training use of crating drawings using CAD
