Full job description
Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Hourly Rate: $31.55 an hour + $1.00 shift differential
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support safe, efficient, and reliable production of ready‑to‑eat popcorn products by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment within the Lincoln, Nebraska plant.
A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
- Install, repair, modify, and maintain food processing and packaging equipment across production lines.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment and systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation including temperature recorders, transducers, and electronic scales.
- Support production line changeovers, equipment startups, and line modifications.
- Perform welding, minor sheet metal work, basic machine tool operations, and facility maintenance as needed.
- Complete required maintenance documentation and follow all safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while communicating effectively with team members and contractors.
Ingredients Required For Your Success
- 1+ year mechanical and technical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment or associate’s degree in related field.
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Welding experience and familiarity with basic machine tool operation.
- Willingness to continue technical education through courses, training, and seminars as needed.
- Commitment to following all safety, food safety, quality, uniform, and personal protective equipment policies.
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
