Our client, a leading organization in telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking a OSP Engineer Civil Projects to join their team. As a OSP Engineer Civil Projects, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting field operations and project management teams.

Job Title: OSP Engineer Civil Projects | 1 year Contract

Location: Mankato, Minnesota

Pay Range: $30-$36/HR

What's the Job?

  • Manage assigned areas, including multiple exchanges, with minimal supervision to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

  • Coordinate with jurisdictions, customers, and joint utilities to facilitate field meets and project execution.

  • Draft designs, identify materials, and order necessary resources for project completion.

  • Establish project milestones, negotiate private ROW, and ensure permitting requirements are met.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in OSP engineering or related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CADTEL, Peoplesoft, or Netcracker systems.

  • Knowledge of aerial, buried, and underground (U.G.) new build designs, including copper and fiber technology.

  • Understanding of copper cable counts, fiber assignments, and fiber optic technology.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with government entities and partner departments.
