Job Summary
Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama (GSNCA) is seeking a visionary and mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the council into its next chapter of growth and impact. Serving a region that spans diverse urban, suburban, and rural communities, the CEO will advance the strategic priorities while furthering the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character. The CEO will lead the council's mission, strategy, and operations, ensuring excellence in community engagement, fundraising, membership growth, program delivery, and financial management. Working closely with volunteers, community partners, and civic leaders throughout North-Central Alabama, the CEO will strengthen the council's visibility, sustainability, and reach while inspiring a high-performing team and ensuring that every girl has access to transformative experiences.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive executive experience with a preference for non-profit leadership. The candidate will have demonstrated success throughout their career collaborating internally and externally with diverse stakeholder groups, including boards, volunteers, corporate leaders. They will be team-oriented, results-driven, and display a vision and passion for the girl enrichment experience, with a proven ability to lead change, address organizational challenges head-on, and build resilience across teams and stakeholders. They should have the ability and excitement to travel throughout the region to build targeted, high-impact relationships and engage in meaningful opportunities.
