As an armed officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location supporting critical infrastructure operations.

Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.
-
Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
-
Customer service experience is preferred.
-
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
-
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
