Full job description
Job Duties
Project Engineer for DGI-Menard, Inc.
Perform and manage technical elements of engineering and construction projects. Req. BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Mgmt.

Adhere to all Company safety rules and procedures.

Perform and manage field quality control tests and production records.

Perform basic field surveys, resolve geometry issues, prepare drawings/sketches to support construction work.

Ensure all work is in accordance with Menard’s standards and design and construction drawings.

Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.

Prepare RFI’s for submission to General Contractors and Engineers.

Prepare project submittals for materials, work plans, means & methods statements

Maintain and establish relationships with project stakeholders and clients.

Support the Marketing and Business Development departments by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.

Make technical presentations to prospects and supporting educational training of Menard clientele

Travel within the Midwest U.S. region to project sites for quality control and record keeping 3 days per week, 5-7 times per quarter.
Job is based in Roseville, MN. WFH when not on project sites ok up to 2 days per wk. Salary: $76,274 per year, standard company benefits.
