Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Plymouth, MN 55442
As a Medical Device Assembler you will:
Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and catheters in a regulated manufacturing environment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), FDA, and GMP guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance Perform microscope assembly and handle small, precision components Complete documentation (paper & electronic) for traceability and quality control Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to all safety procedures Perform repetitive fine motor tasks (grasping, pinching, twisting) with high attention to detail Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in a production environment
This is a full time, contract opportunity.
Schedule:
1st Shift : 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler. Strong attention to detail, quality, and compliance standards Ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs. Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping. Preferred Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cleanroom manufacturing experience Experience in regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech)
Pay Rate*: $17.50 - $19.25 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
