Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL A Truck Driver with a Hazmat endorsement and minimum 1 year of port/pier experience to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials to and from port terminals, ensuring timely deliveries and strict compliance with DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport cargo, including hazardous materials
-
Navigate port and pier environments efficiently, adhering to terminal protocols and security procedures
-
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
-
Maintain accurate logs and documentation using ELD systems
-
Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and port authorities
-
Ensure proper handling and securement of loads, especially hazardous freight
-
Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies
-
Report any incidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly
Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license

Hazmat endorsement (required)

Minimum 1 year of experience operating in port/pier environments

Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT drug screening

Possess Twic and Sealink Cards

Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hazardous material handling
