Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Travel HVAC Service Technician for an HVAC client. This role involves extensive travel, including managing flights, dealing with airline cancellations, and arranging rental cars and hotel accommodations. The technician will be responsible for the startup and commissioning of basic air conditioning equipment, coordinating with mechanical and electrical contractors, and representing our equipment throughout the commissioning process. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing travel logistics, performing startup and commissioning on various air conditioning equipment such as chilled water CRAH units, rooftop package units (160 tons), and condensing units (160 tons). Additionally, the technician will coordinate with mechanical and electrical contractors to ensure smooth operation and commissioning of equipment, provide training, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
