How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform routine and complex diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures to evaluate heart structures and hemodynamics following established protocols.

• Set up equipment, adjust technical parameters, and manually maneuver transducers while properly positioning patients for clear imaging.

• Identify cardiac pathology, normal anatomy, artifacts, and equipment limits while ensuring high-quality images and patient data are promptly sent to PACS.

• Maintain a clean, orderly facility and execute safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance standards across the department.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• One or more of the following required:

• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
