This full-time position is based out of the Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "Can Do" attitude, responsible for financial analysis, guidance, and process improvement.

Key focus areas include Analyze financial results and identify business opportunities, Provide financial guidance and support to internal departments, and Build financial models for business proposals and growth opportunities.

Successful candidates bring Upper Intermediate Communication Skills In English, Four+ Years Experience In Progressive Accounting Or Financial Analysis, and Excellent Excel And Powerpoint Skills. Important skills include Financial Analysis, Business Opportunity Identification, Financial Guidance, Financial Modeling, Process Efficiency Improvement, and Cost Efficiency Analysis. Preferred (not required): E1 and Database Tools.

Our partner is a team of over 19,000 (FTE) with business units in: Agriculture, Construction & Equipment, Consumer Products, Hydro Energy, Food, Forestry & Forestry Products, Retail & Distribution, Shipbuilding & Industrial Fabrication, Transportation & Logistics. They are currently seeking a full-time Senior Financial Analyst based out of the Head Office in Dieppe, NB. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of financial results and identification of business opportunities;

  • Providing financial guidance and support to internal departments;

  • Building financial models for business proposals and growth and expansion opportunities;

  • Research and resolve business unit(s) inquiries for functional areas;

  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance;

  • Review and analyze cost efficiency initiatives and projects;

  • Reporting, trending, and analysis on projects and strategic initiatives;

  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Upper Intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • 4+ years of experience in progressive accounting or financial analysis-based positions

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Knowledge of E1, TM1, Cognos or other database and reporting tools considered an asset

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive business improvement

  • Self-Motivated and Cares about quality of work
