Description

Cornerstone Endodontics is seeking a skilled and committed Front Office Assistant with Dental or Medical experience to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients as they arrive for their appointment.

  • Answer phone calls promptly.

  • Perform office administrative tasks.

  • Schedule procedures for clinical visits.

  • Enter patient’s insurance information in practice management software.

  • Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients and referrals.

  • Calculate patient financial responsibilities based on insurance coverage.

  • Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensure their comfort.

  • Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.

  • Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation. Requirements

  • 1 or more years of Dental experience preferred.

  • 1 or more years of medical billing and insurance experience preferred.

  • 1 or more years of customer focused experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

  • The ability to stay organized and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
