Full job description

A growing health center in Rockland County, NY is seeking a full-time Quality Improvement (QI) Director to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and clinical experience who is committed to improving quality outcomes and enhancing patient care. This role involves leading quality improvement initiatives, overseeing clinical care management, and collaborating with providers to achieve organizational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze clinical quality performance and implement quality improvement initiatives

  • Lead efforts to maintain NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) accreditation

  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to implement quality improvement activities

  • Monitor UDS quality measures and work year-round to improve performance

  • Develop and implement new clinical programs

  • Oversee clinical care management

  • Serve as the liaison between insurance payors and CMADC to maximize value-based payments, incentives, and quality rewards

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical clinic

  • Prior leadership or management experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

  • Computer proficient with the ability to quickly learn new software programs
