Basic Job Functions:
The 1st and 2nd shift QC Inspectors principal duties include but are not limited to: Verify and document that finished product has been manufactured in such a manner that meets the requirements of the customer specifications and AWS D1.1. The Inspector performs dimensional layout and visual weld inspections of all welds per the quality inspection procedures. Inspections are to be documented on the appropriate inspection forms.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in blueprint reading and layout.

Ability to achieve VT Level II or CWI certification

Experience in Level II in UT Shearwave and VT Level II
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Knowledge and experience with the manufacture of steel transmission/distribution monopole structures.

Knowledge and experience with weld inspection to the requirements of AWS D1.1

Goal oriented with a drive for continuous improvement.
