Experienced Dementia Unit Manager (RN/LPN) – Locked Memory Care Unit
? Morris View Healthcare Center, Morristown, NJ
We are seeking an experienced RN/LPN to lead our secure Memory Care/Dementia Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate, clinically strong nurse leader with extensive experience managing residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Required Qualifications:

Current RN/LPN license in New Jersey

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Unit Manager/Nurse Manager in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience caring for residents with dementia and behavioral health needs in a secured memory care environment

Strong knowledge of dementia-specific interventions, behavior management, fall prevention, psychotropic medication monitoring, and regulatory compliance

Proven leadership experience supervising nursing staff, conducting clinical rounds, managing admissions, care plans, quality measures, and family communication
