How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Expertly evaluate patient conditions to prioritize care and implement life-saving interventions in a high-acuity environment.

  • Precisely carry out physician orders and monitor patient stability, adapting care plans instantly as conditions evolve.

  • Act as the primary coordinator for the multidisciplinary trauma and emergency teams to ensure seamless, well-timed care.

  • Provide clear, empathetic education and support to patients and families navigating the stress of an emergency visit.

  • Coordinate urgent diagnostic testing and facilitate efficient admissions or discharge planning to maintain optimal department flow.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
