Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Entry Level CAD Engineer to support one of our large Telecommunications clients. This individual will be responsible for converting as-built construction documentation and engineering designs into accurate AutoCAD drawings. The ideal candidate will have foundational AutoCAD experience, strong attention to detail, and a basic understanding of fiber optic network architecture.
Responsibilities:

Interpret as-built construction documents, field sketches, and engineering designs.

Create and update 2D drawings using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.

Convert existing construction and engineering documentation into detailed CAD drawings.

Maintain accuracy and consistency across telecommunications design packages.

Review and revise drawings based on project updates and engineering feedback.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure documentation is up to date and compliant with project standards.

Organize and maintain CAD files and related project documentation.

Work primarily in an office environment, spending the majority of time creating and modifying drawings at a computer workstation.
Pay Rate Range: $20-$22/hr
