With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

Overview We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Layup S cheduling Specialist . This role will manage the production control board in the composite shop to ensure smooth execution of build plans on the floor . The position requires someone with higher-level critical thinking skills to quickly adap t to a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment. A high-level understanding of the composite layup process is necessary to maintain the schedule board. At times this role will require complex decision-making involving schedules, support teams, environment, and physical assets. This role enables composite hand layup technicians to focus exclusively on lamination workmanship, supporting takt time and part quality.

Shift Schedules below:

1 st shift - Monday – Thursday: 7AM- 5:30PM 2 nd shift- Monday - Thursday: 5:30PM - 4:00AM 3 rd shift -Friday - Sunday: 6AM - 6:30PM

Responsibilities Work with the Composite planning team to ensure scheduled work is flowing smoothly through the shop with little to no downtime. Work directly with MFG Eng. To highlight workcell constraints and escalate replacement of equipment as needed Work with Team Leads and Group Lead to ensure technicians work on parts appropriate to their skill level Develop systems to document part complexity, team member skill level, and workcell set up ability. Maintain physical board – print Job , Team Member, and Behind Cause Code magnets, move scheduled work as dictated by schedule change/work stoppage/behind condition , wipe down dry erase and keep white board generally clean , and maintain other physical media posted on board. Request the preparation of lamination molds and ensure material is kitted for parts scheduled to be built. Maintain 4S+S and organization . Attend daily team coordination standups . Respond quickly to technician requests (tools, parts, etc.) and support in a leadership capacity to guide team members to solutions. Required

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Intermediate computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
  • P r e v i o u s p l a n n i n g or project management experience (1+ years)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, time sensitive environments (2+ years).
  • Demonstrated abilities following standardized work instructions, technical requirements, and executing standard processes.
  • Lifting of 50 lbs. aided or unaided throughout the day.
  • Must wear PPE when required.
  • Have no known aller gies to epoxies or other composites materials.
  • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to become forklift, crane, respirator and/or equipment certified.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and work rules, as well as ensuring a safe work environment is maintained.
  • Must have and maintain excellent work attendance.
  • Must be able to think through problems and stay with them until they are resolved .
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated, and able to work alone or with other team members.
  • Strive to continually improve quality, 5S, and productivity within areas of responsibility, knowledge, skills and experience. Demonstration through participation of FMDS, shop cleanings, internal audits, e tc.

Desired

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a high-volume production environment that relies on a well-defined process to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S environments. The target base pay for this position is $27-$40/hr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
