Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of the Admissions Coordinator include coordinating the admissions process, including PASRR and implementation of marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations activities, both external and internal, in accordance with Corporate Marketing and Public Relations plans and/or procedures, Methodist Senior Services policies and procedures and federal, state, and local regulations. Primary responsibilities include coordinating with outside facilities and/or families about admissions and entering PASRR; marketing and leasing of units; maintaining strong public and community relations; and other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

License/Credentials

LPN Preferred

Education Requirements: High school diploma (or GED).

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age; cannot be a resident of the facility; shall have verification that he/she is not listed on the "Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registry"; full time hours required;

Preferred LPN with current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN in this state with a minimum of two years experience working in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care institution, with training or experience in geriatrics or a graduate of a four year degree program with related experience in a geriatric related field.
