Local Pay: $36.00/hour

Shift Details:

Dental Assistant (Expanded Function) Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Place and finish dental restorations(fillings) after the dentist prepares the tooth. -

Take accurate impressions for temporary crowns, bridges, and diagnostic models.
-
Fabricate and place temporary crowns and bridges.
-
Perform coronal polishing and fluoride treatments.
-
Apply sealants and desensitizing agents as directed.
-
Assist the dentist during procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic treatments.

Take and process radiographs.
-
Maintain proper infection control and sterilization standards.
-
Provide clear post-treatment instructions to patients.
-
Charts treatment notes accurately and assists with updating patient records.

Monitor inventory and prepare trays for procedures.

Support front office team with patient flow and case coordination when needed.
**Minimum Qualifications **
-
Current, valid, and unrestricted GA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

One (1) - two (2) years of dental assisting experience required.

Strong knowledge of restorative procedures and materials.
-
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
-
EFDA Certification (Required in applicable state).
-
High school diploma or GED.
-
CPR Certification.

Completion of dental radiography course.

EFDA Experience

Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.(Expanded Function Dental Assistant (CODA),X-Ray Certification, CPR Certification)
