Job Title: Production Worker 1st shift!
Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will use hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components for flooring and drop ceiling products. While all lifting is done as a team, you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35lbs independently a few times per shift. There is an opportunity to train on machinery once hired. Experience with table saws is beneficial, and candidates with this experience will be considered for machine operator roles.
Responsibilities

Learn and develop a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Ceiling Grid department.

Position parts and monitor operations on equipment to produce products at established production standards.

Inspect panels or parts to verify they meet quality standards and notify appropriate personnel of any issues.

Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.

Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of products or materials.

Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.

Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and a tape measure.

General labor experience.

Experience with power tools and machine operation is a plus.

Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
