As a Tax Manager for RSM you willbe responsible forthe following job duties which are focused around three core concepts (Technical & Quality Expertise, People & Talent Management, and Client Service/Business Development):

Serve as a Career Advisor, mentor or coach to one or more employees, which will include providing honest andtimelyperformance feedback -approximately 10- 20%of yourtime

Train and develop staff members -approximately 10-20% of yourtime

Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns -approximately upto 35% of yourtime

Work on multiple complex issues while communicating in a non-technical manner tofacilitatecommunication between the client and the service team while managing the risk for both the client and thefirm

Serve as the Tax client service coordinator forappropriateclients

Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitionsactivities

Reviewing research findings and ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professionalstandards

Assistwith new business development, extendedserviceand tax issue recognition for existingclients

Manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal andstatetaxcompliance

Remainup-to-dateon current tax practices and changes in tax law

Other duties asassigned

Some travel may berequired

All percentages may vary based on location, line of business, and client need

Basic Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree - preferably inAccountingor related field of study

CPA, JD, LLM, or EA

Minimum of 5 years of experienceworking with C Corp clientsinpublicaccounting

Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxesin accordance withASC 740

Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance

Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax servicerequirements

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Industryspecialization a plus

Ability to handle multiple taskssimultaneously

Experience in dealing with international tax matters aplus

Fluent inFrench(Francais),German(Deutsch), Japanese() or Mandarin() to include but not limited to speaking,writingand reading with a deep understanding of the culture and business practices within country of fluency

Proventrack recordof managing relationships with largenon UScompanies with significant operations in North America

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $180,400

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
