The Senior UX Designer will collaborate on the end‑to‑end redesign of three major e‑commerce sites as the organization transitions to a new platform and CMS. This role requires strong strategic thinking, hands‑on design expertise, and the ability to envision and execute a cohesive, scalable design system across multiple digital properties. The ideal candidate excels at partnering with product, engineering, designers, researchers, and business stakeholders with minimal day‑to‑day direction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX strategy and design for the redesign, re‑platforming and maintenance of three e‑commerce sites, ensuring consistency, scalability, and best‑in‑class user experience.

  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that support the full product lifecycle—from concept through production.

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive multi‑site design system, including components, patterns, and documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to translate business goals and user insights into intuitive, conversion‑focused designs.

  • Advocate for UX principles and data‑informed decisions during planning, prioritization, and sprint activities.

  • Ensure accessibility, responsive design, and performance best practices are integrated into all deliverables.

  • Provide direction, feedback, and UX expertise without requiring daily oversight; proactively identify design opportunities, risks, and solutions.

  • Support streamlined implementation by partnering closely with development teams to ensure design fidelity and feasibility.

Job Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of UX design experience, with significant background in e‑commerce, complex web applications, or multi‑site ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale redesigns or platform migrations.

  • Expertise in Figma and contemporary design/prototyping tools.

  • Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, usability heuristics, and responsive design.

  • Experience building or contributing to design systems and working within CMS‑driven environments.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence decisions across cross‑functional teams.

  • Independent, self‑directed working style with the ability to manage ambiguity in fast‑moving environments.
