Summary

The Technician - Quality Control is responsible for inspecting, testing, preparing, and staging rental equipment to ensure inventory accuracy, equipment reliability, and event readiness. This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and supporting flawless event execution.

This position will support our Alford Media team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office/warehouse based out of Flower Mound, TX.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inbound inspections and quality control checks on rental equipment.

  • Prioritize workloads based on event schedules and outbound equipment requirements.

  • Stage, prepare, and verify outbound equipment to ensure readiness and accuracy.

  • Conduct basic troubleshooting, testing, and repairs to return equipment to rentable condition.

  • Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with company and DOT requirements.

  • Maintain inventory levels of parts, accessories, and supporting equipment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality control processes and warehouse efficiency.

  • Promote and follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Partner with Operations, Warehouse, and Event teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

  • Assist with training and development of team members as needed.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in event production, audiovisual technology, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.

  • Basic technical repair and troubleshooting experience is an asset.

This position regularly works in a warehouse environment and requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, and moving equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
