About Us F4F is a Hybrid Social Enterprise working to protect and increase India’s biodiverse forest cover in close collaboration with rural communities. Job Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting both internal and external audits. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements, periodic reports, and supporting documentation for internal and external use.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory tax requirements.
- Support statutory, internal, and donor audits by maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients on finance-related matters.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and monitor financial transactions to ensure correctness and completeness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Word) and accounting tools — Zoho Books preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Benefits Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Salary will be decided mutually based on experience, skills, and fit with the team and organizational culture.
