Job Description:

Job Overview

You will have an exciting opportunity to be a technical resource for the growing heat shrink tubing operations. The purpose of this role is to maintain tooling inventory across the tubing department to avoid stock outs that lead to delayed production orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep daily inventory counts of tools

  • Monitor production order forecast to identify tool stock outs that may delay production orders

  • Reorder tools when they are damaged or worn beyond use; order additional new tools as needed

  • Confirm new tooling meets drawing specifications prior to release for production using measurement tools and systems

  • Develop inventory systems and methods to continuously improve tool availability and quality

  • Work with engineering to address tooling issues and make improvements

  • Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives

  • Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods to achieve results

  • Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of the products TE manufactures

  • Other tasks as assigned from manager or requested from engineering

What your background should look like

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills in support of manufacturing operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results aligned with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience using computer based systems in a networked environment; working knowledge of Windows OS, Word, and Excel; Teams, PLM, and ERP system experience is a plus.

  • Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $42,400 – 63,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
