Summary:
Provides direct patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
Required Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
Minimum Qualifications: You may qualify for the position through one of the following ways:
· 6 months acute care experience as a patient caregiver
· 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience as a patient caregiver
· Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an RN or LPN program
· Completion of a Baycare approved Nurse Assistant/PCT program (program must include a minimum of 40 hours OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM clinical training)
Education : Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; may also qualify with a Certificate of Completion
