Position Summary
The Miller Therapeutic Pool at Mt. Ascutney is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Aquatic Aide/Trainer. Aquatic Aide’s support the clean and orderly working environment in the pool area, and support and assist in the delivery of therapeutic care of patients as directed by therapy staff. Responsible for providing oversight and direction for a community based aquatic exercise program that may include running aquatic exercise groups and ensuring a safe environment for members during scheduled exercise blocks. Must have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task, be well-organized, and be able to adapt to changes as needed. Aquatic aides should feel comfortable in the water, guiding and directing other in exercise groups as needed.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required. CPR & Water Safety or Lifesaving Instruction certifications required. Previous experience in or knowledge of the healthcare field desirable.
