Full job description

Apply Description The Manager, Structured Finance is responsible for quarterbacking the execution of capital raises, including project finance debt, project equity, tax equity, and hybrid corporate / project capital funding structures. The role will drive diligence, manage transaction workstreams and documentation, and keep financings on schedule from structuring through financial close while maintaining high standards of technical rigor, commercial outcomes, and execution quality.

Reporting to the Director, Structured Finance, this role will lead a team of Associates and Analysts and serve as the day-to-day execution lead on one or more concurrent transactions, managing diligence, documentation, and closing mechanics directly with lenders, investors, and advisors. This is a hands-on execution role for a highly organized, detail-oriented finance professional with a proven ability to manage complex infrastructure financings end-to-end and maintain momentum across negotiations, documentation, and closing timelines.

Requirements Responsibilities

  • Quarterback Deal Execution: Serve as the day-to-day execution lead on capital raises, including project finance debt, project equity, tax equity, and hybrid corporate / project structures. Drive transaction timelines and keep financings moving from term sheet through financial close.
  • Diligence & Data Room Management: Own the diligence process for active transactions, including organizing and maintaining data rooms, responding to lender and investor information requests, and coordinating diligence workstreams across internal teams and advisors.
  • Structuring & Negotiation Support: Support capital stack design and transaction structuring, balancing project economics, tax efficiency, risk allocation, and bankability. Serve as a day-to-day point of contact in negotiations and manage transaction-level communication with lenders, equity investors, tax equity providers, and strategic partners.
  • Documentation & Transaction Materials: Coordinate the drafting, review, and negotiation of transaction documents alongside Legal and external counsel, tracking open issues to resolution. Prepare investment materials, decision memos, and transaction status updates that clearly summarize structure, economics, and execution status for senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Integration & Risk Management: Coordinate closely with Engineering, Development, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Asset Management to ensure projects are financeable, accurately modeled, and operationally executable. Flag and help resolve execution risks that could impact closing timelines or transaction quality.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain financial models supporting capital stack analysis and transaction structuring. Ensure clean and complete handoff of closed transactions to Portfolio Management, including documentation and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure investing, energy finance, or investment banking, with direct experience executing complex transactions
  • Strong technical understanding of project finance debt, tax equity, and capital stack structuring, with the ability to support financial modeling and structuring analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diligence processes, data rooms, and documentation workstreams across multiple concurrent transactions
  • Experience coordinating with lenders, equity investors, and tax equity counterparties on transaction execution
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong execution discipline and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, technical environment
