Responsibilities

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking highly skilled and motivated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our Department of Anesthesiology. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities at a leading academic medical center located in the scenic Upper Valley of New Hampshire.

Being the state’s only Level I Trauma Center, our institution delivers advanced, high-acuity care across a broad range of specialties. We offer flexible scheduling options for both full-time and part-time roles, designed to support a balanced and sustainable practice. Our department emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and mutual support, enabling CRNAs to excel in both clinical practice and professional development.

Our Practice:

  • Ranked as having the 2nd highest acuity level in New England, placing it among the top 5% nationwide

  • Anesthesia services for 45,000+ cases/year in over 40 anesthetizing sites

  • Diverse OR case mix and non-OR anesthesia

  • No overnight call and minimal weekend work

  • Personalized and flexible scheduling, including various shift types, to accommodate varying lifestyles.

Our Benefits:

  • Salary tiers starting at $259,400 with increases based on CRNA experience

  • CRNAs work in a shift-based model: 1680 annual work hoursyielding a generous 10 weeks off per year

  • Option to pick up extra shifts at premium rates

  • Up to $75,000 in total incentives, paid over 2 years

  • Up to $15,000 in relocation assistance, calculated based on mileage

  • Day-one health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 403(b) with up to 6% employer match

  • All licenses and certifications are reimbursed, in addition to a biennial CME stipend of $4,000

  • Weekly educational opportunities for CE credits

  • No income or sales tax for New Hampshire residents

Qualifications

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Active New Hampshire RN and APRN licenses

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification (NBCRNA)

  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program

  • Active DEA registration in New Hampshire

  • Current ACLS certification

  • Area of Interest:Advanced Practice Provider

  • Pay Range:$97.72/Hr. - $125.33/Hr.

  • FTE/Hours per pay period:1.00 - 1.00 - 40 hrs/week
