Job Description:

Quality Technician - Inspection Room - Delavan, WI

Position Summary:

Pentair is currently seeking a Quality Technician to be a resource and interface across all areas of the organization. In this role, the Quality Technician will be using common quality tools along with lean fundamentals to help achieve higher levels of product and process quality through new product development support, manufacturing and assembly quality improvements. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production quality initiatives, including process analysis, data evaluation, and problem-solving using 8D methodologies

  • Support ISO/QMS requirements, including internal audits, calibration activities, and general quality system compliance

  • Assist with PPAP activities through component measurement and validation of internal and supplier processes

  • Contribute to product and process development using APQP tools such as FMEA, control plans, and process capability studies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

  • Inspect and evaluate components and materials using CMM programming, optical systems, gauges, and hand tools

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel

  • SAP familiarity a plus

  • Familiar with quality systems (ISO 9001), PPAP, SPC, calibration processes, and SAP systems

  • Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and experience with CMMs (PC-DMIS a plus)

  • Effective written and verbal communication with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Team-oriented with manufacturing experience (injection molding and/or machining preferred

Shift/Position:

  • 1st shift 3:0pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday

  • OT required when needed

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $22 - $24/hr. DOE + 8% shift differential. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
