Insight Global is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join the team of an outpatient center located in Uniondale, NY! This individual should have experience interacting with patients, collecting copayments, scheduling/rescheduling appointments and follow ups and various other clerical duties. This person should be sharp as they are the first impression of the outpatient center! This person must be self-sufficient, eager to learn and reliable. He/she will be joining an organization with great culture, leadership, and promotional opportunity. Hands-on training will be provided.

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience working as a patient access specialist or similar role

 • Hands on experience using EPIC EMR System

 • Experience obtaining prior authorizations

 • Prior experience verifying insurance

 • Prior experience handling patient referrals

 • High School Diploma or equivalent • Experience checking in patients for Radiology
